Sr. Joan Chittister, OSB says that, "the old have something to give us provided that we give them something as well." It is a vital lesson. "People do not become useless simply because they do not have the strength or stamina of middle age. Life is a series of phases, each of them important, all of them worthwhile."

As articulated by our seniors, the ministry of the Health & Wholeness Center is to those who are poor in spirit, poor in health, those who lack meaning in their lives, those who are lonely, those who are reluctant to seek the support they so desperately need, those who lack an opportunity to exercise and those who need companionship. Many live from social security check to check. Many have been blessed economically. All come as one. No hype. No hoopla. All companions on the often disenfranchising journey of aging.
